⚔️🛡️LAW OF GOD🛡️⚔️

[1] “[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),”

[2 Corinthians 10:5 AMPC]

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”

[2 Timothy 1:7 AMPC]

“And Jesus replied to him, Get behind Me, Satan! It is written, You shall do homage to and worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve. [Deut. 6:13; 10:20.]”

[Luke 4:8 AMPC]

[2] The Slave-Saviour was judged not only by the Jewish leaders in Mark 14:53-65, like a sheep before the shearers [Isaiah 53:7], but also by the Roman Governor [Mark 15:1-15], as a criminal before the accusers [Mark 14:64], that He might die to serve sinners with His life as a ransom [Mark 10:45] not only for the Jews, as represented by Jewish leaders, but also for the Gentiles, represented by the Roman Governor.

The accusations of the Jewish *religious leaders exposed their falseness and deceitfulness in their *religion, and the judgement by the Roman rulers exposed their darkness and rottenness in *politics. At the same time, the Man-Saviour (Slave-Saviour, Lord Jesus Christ) again was vindicated in His human perfection of the highest standard, with His all-surpassing divine splendor. This was the strongest sign that He was fully qualified to be the Substitute for the sinners for whom He intended to die.

Jesus would not vindicate Himself. [Luke 22-23]

[3] “Since it is one and the same God Who will justify the circumcised by faith [which germinated from Abraham] and the uncircumcised through their [newly acquired] faith. [For it is the same trusting faith in both cases, a firmly relying faith in Jesus Christ].”

[Romans 3:30 AMPC]

“For the Law results in [divine] wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression [of it either].”

[Romans 4:15 AMPC]

“But then Law came in, [only] to expand and increase the trespass [making it more apparent and exciting opposition]. But where sin increased and abounded, grace (God's unmerited favor) has surpassed it and increased the more and superabounded,”

[Romans 5:20 AMPC]
